caption[0] = 'Life Sciences Secondary School, Branding/Identity
When creating the mark, I experimented with overlapping spheres at different transparencies to show the diversity and complexity of life as well as the many facets of scientific exploration. My challenge was to make a system that both expressed serious academics, and would appeal to an urban, adolescent student body. The program was well received, however was never implimented due to adminstrative changes. details.';
caption[1] = 'Northstar Healthcare, Branding/Identity
The mark that I developed was inspired by the image of a Parent cradlng a child. The image illustrates the concept of a Palladium, or protective wall, as well as presenting Palladium Healthcare as humanistic. The mark that I origionally created for the Surgery Clicnic was so well received that it was adopedted as the unifying mark for the whole organization. details.';
caption[2] = 'Clariana, Custom Typeface
Clariana was inspired by the cast iron typographic name plates commonly used to identify homes in Caracas Venezuela. Because of high crime rates in that dity, high walls were constructed around the homes. These names serve to personalize otherwise opressive stuctures. details.';
caption[3] = 'Hammand Fund Booklet
The Hammand Fund, is a fund set up by Aleya Hammad in moeory of her husband Ismail Hammad. The fund supports the NYU Wagner’s international research efforts, benifiting student as well as faculty. details.';
caption[4] = 'Windjammer T-shirt
To commemorate the thirtieth anniversary of a popular beach bar on the Isle of Palms, South Carolina, I created a T-shirt design that reflected the relaxed “beach-style” reminiscent of the early seventies, when the bar first opened. The T-shirt design was popular with locals and tourists who felt that it captured the essence of the SC beach culture. details.';
caption[5] = 'The Funeral, Film Poster
I wanted to create an image for the film that did not conform to the typical visual style of contemporary film posters. I chose a purpsosfully niveve approch which illustrates the films raw and violent nature. details.';
caption[6] = 'NYU American Montisori Society
I was asked to design the print materials for the American Montisori Society’s Anuual Convention. This text heavy program featured graphs, photos and illustrations. details.';
caption[7] = 'Wagner Student Guide
NYU Wagner wanted to create a Guide for Students that corrosponded to the school’s new identity. My solution used a tabed front flap that served simultatiously as bookmark, table of contents and front cover. The die-cut cover design gave the book the stand out feature they were looking for. details.';
caption[8] = 'Music Technology Brochure
This brochure was one of a serise that I designed for The Music and Performing Arts Department at the NYU Steinhardt. The intention was to create a fexible vehicle to highlight each program individually to perspective students. details.';
caption[9] = 'The Museum of the Meaningless and Mundane
The Museum of the Meanless and Mundane is a forum to celebrate everyday objects. I thought it would be interesting if objects we overlook as being meanless or mundane had their own venue. Building upon the Dadaist concept of readymade art, the museum is a place where the everyday is artistic. details.';

caption[12] = 'Masters Thesis Project
This book represents an effort to understand the evolution of film posters in the United States. How do American film posters fit into the history of poster design? How do they compare to the film posters of other countries? And, are the tremendous sums paid by movie studios allowing for better design? details.';
caption[13] = 'Sound and Speed Festival, Nashville TN
Drawing from the history of block printed posters that are pervasive in the Country and Western music culture. The program consisted of a series of contrasting illustrations. The images representing racing were linar and sleek, the images representing music were bold posterized elements. Using one from each illustration type visual lock-ups were created and paired with copy lines to convay a simple message about the event. details.';
caption[14] = 'Avenue MC, Retail Identity
I created this logo/identity for Avenue MC, a motorcycle apparel retailer in midtown Manhattan. The store’s inventory includs a host of European and domestic brands. The sleek lines, of the logo represent the speed and agility of a high-performance racing bike. Which appealed to the target audience of urban motorcycle enthusiasts. details.';
